Walking
If you are starting from the Palermo Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Via Roma. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Via Maqueda. Turn right onto Via Maqueda and continue walking straight. You will pass by several shops and cafés. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to the CENTRO STORICO DI PALERMO on your left.

From Teatro Massimo, take bus number 101 towards 'Stazione Centrale'. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Piazza Verdi'. From there, walk straight down Via Maqueda. After 200 meters, you will arrive at the CENTRO STORICO DI PALERMO.

If you are near the Quattro Canti (the Four Corners), head southwest on Via Vittorio Emanuele. Continue walking for about 300 meters until you reach the Piazza Pretoria.
