Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Palermo Cathedral, head south on Via Vittorio Emanuele toward Piazza Bellini. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza Bellini. From Piazza Bellini, turn left onto Via Maqueda and walk straight for approximately 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. As you reach the end of Via Maqueda, you will see the Teatro Massimo to your right. Keep walking straight until you reach Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, which is located directly in front of the theater.

    If you are at the Central Train Station in Palermo, you can take bus number 104. Exit the train station and find the bus stop near Via Roma. Board the bus heading toward 'Teatro Massimo' and get off at the Teatro Massimo stop. From there, walk straight ahead for just a few steps, and you will arrive at Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, located right in front of the Teatro Massimo.
