Take bus lines 1 or 8 from Piazza Garibaldi towards the eastern part of the city. Get off at the 'San Lazzaro' stop, which is right next to the arch. Bus tickets cost €1.70 and are valid for 80 minutes. You can purchase tickets at tobacconists or directly on the bus for a higher price.
