Walking
From the central Piazza Garibaldi in Parma, head north towards Via Mazzini. Continue straight on Via Mazzini until you reach the intersection with Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and walk for about 400 meters. At the end of Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, turn right onto Via della Repubblica. Continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach Piazza del Duomo. The Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta will be directly in front of you, facing the square.

From the Parma Train Station, take bus number 6 or 7 towards 'Piazza Garibaldi.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza Garibaldi' stop. From Piazza Garibaldi, follow the walking directions: head north towards Via Mazzini, turn left onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, and then turn right onto Via della Repubblica. Walk for about 300 meters until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta is located.
