Walking
From the city center of Perugia, head towards Corso Vannucci. Walk straight along Corso Vannucci until you reach the end of the street, where it leads into Piazza IV Novembre. Continue straight through the square and exit on the opposite side. You will see the escalators that lead to the lower part of the city. Take the escalators down and follow the signs for 'Piazza Italia'. Once in Piazza Italia, turn left onto Via della Ferrovia. After a short walk, turn right onto Via dei Priori. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Via della Libertà. Turn left onto Via della Libertà and continue until you see signs for Monte Tezio. Follow the signs, and you will eventually reach Cima Monte Tezio.
Bus
From the main bus station in Perugia, take bus number 4 or 5 towards Monte Tezio. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Get off at the stop closest to the Monte Tezio hiking area. After exiting the bus, follow the signs for the hiking trail leading to Cima Monte Tezio. The path is well-marked and will guide you to your destination.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Perugia. Start your journey from the city center and head towards Via della Ferrovia. Continue along the cycle path that leads to the outskirts of the city. Follow the signs for Monte Tezio; there will be a designated cycling route that takes you closer to the hiking area. The ride will take you through some scenic views before reaching the base of Cima Monte Tezio.
