From the main bus station in Perugia (Piazza Partigiani), take the bus number 9 towards Assisi. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Cà Piombino'. From the bus stop, you will see signs directing you to Mount Subasio. Follow the path that leads you uphill; it should take about 15 minutes of walking to reach the entrance of Mount Subasio.

If you're near the historic center of Perugia, you can walk to Mount Subasio. Start at the main square, Piazza IV Novembre, and head towards Corso Vannucci. Continue walking straight until you reach the exit of the city at Porta San Pietro. From there, follow the signs towards Assisi. The path is well-marked and will take you through scenic countryside. It’s about a 1.5 to 2-hour walk depending on your pace, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.
