From the center of Perugia, walk to the 'Piazza Partigiani' bus stop. There, take the bus number 5 towards Assisi. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Assisi - San Damiano' stop, disembark. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to San Damiano. Head south on 'Via San Damiano' for roughly 800 meters until you reach the sanctuary at Via San Damiano, 7.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start at the main square of Perugia, 'Piazza IV Novembre'. From there, head southeast on 'Via dei Priori'. Continue straight until you reach 'Corso Vannucci' and take a left. Walk along 'Corso Vannucci' until you reach the 'Piazza dei Martiri' and turn right onto 'Via Sant'Antonio'. Follow this road until it merges into 'Via San Damiano'. Continue straight for about 2.5 km, and you will find San Damiano at Via San Damiano, 7.
