    From the Pisa Centrale train station, exit the station and head towards Via della Stazione. Turn left onto Via dei Mille and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Garibaldi. Keep walking straight until you reach the river Arno. Cross the river using the Ponte di Mezzo bridge. Once you are across, continue straight onto Lungarno Mediceo. After a few minutes, you will reach a roundabout; continue straight onto Via di Fortezza. Follow this road until you see the Fortezza Nuova on your left at Via di Fortezza, 3.

    From the Pisa Centrale train station, you can catch bus number 5 or 6 from the bus stop located just outside the station. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Fortezza' stop. After disembarking, walk back a short distance and turn left onto Via di Fortezza. Continue walking for a couple of minutes until you reach Fortezza Nuova at Via di Fortezza, 3.
