From the city center of Pisa, head to the main bus station located at Via Cammeo. Board the bus line 21 towards Marina di Pisa. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Marina di Pisa'. Once you get off, follow the main road towards the coast, and you will reach the beach area of Marina di Pisa.
Train
If you prefer taking the train, make your way to the Pisa Centrale train station. From there, board a regional train towards Livorno. Disembark at the 'Pisa San Rossore' station, which is the closest to Marina di Pisa. After exiting the station, you can walk for about 20 minutes towards the coast, following the signs to Marina di Pisa.
Walking
If you are near the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Marina di Pisa. Head south along Via Roma, then turn left onto Via di Santa Maria. Continue walking until you reach the riverbank. Follow the river (Arno) until you reach the Via Livornese. From there, follow the signs to Marina di Pisa, which is about a 1-hour walk.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle in Pisa. From the city center, cycle towards Via Livornese. This road will lead you directly to Marina di Pisa, and the ride takes approximately 30 minutes. There are bike lanes available, making it a safe and enjoyable ride along the coast.
