Train
From Pisa Centrale train station, purchase a ticket to Lucca. Trains to Lucca leave frequently, typically every 30 minutes. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride that takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Lucca's train station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini.
Walking
After turning left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini, continue walking straight until you reach the city walls. Enter Lucca through the Porta San Pietro. Once inside, walk straight along Via San Paolino until you reach Piazza San Michele. From there, take Via Fillungo, which leads you to the center of Lucca. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Antelminelli, where the Museo della Cattedrale is located at number 5.
Bus
From Pisa Centrale, you can take a bus to Lucca. Look for the LAM Rossa line or other regional buses that go to Lucca. The bus ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lucca bus station, follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach Museo della Cattedrale.
