Train
From Pisa Centrale train station, take a train to Lucca. Trains to Lucca run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lucca train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Viale Regina Margherita. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the first traffic light. Cross the street and continue straight onto Via del Fosso. Follow this road until you reach Piazza San Francesco. From there, turn left onto Via San Francesco, which will lead you directly to the city center. Continue straight until you reach Via degli Asili. The Palazzo Pfanner will be on your right at number 33.

From Pisa, you can take a bus to Lucca. Head to the bus station located near the train station (Pisa Centrale). Look for the bus service 'CPT' which operates routes to Lucca. Make sure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. The bus journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive in Lucca, get off at the main bus station. From there, walk towards the city center along Viale Carlo del Prete. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Francesco.
