Walking
If you are in the center of Pisa, start at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. From there, head northeast on Via Santa Maria toward Piazza dei Cavalieri. Continue on Via Santa Maria until you reach the intersection with Via San Frediano. Turn right onto Via San Frediano and walk straight until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, catch a bus to Lucca. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lucca, follow the signs to the city center. Walk towards Piazza San Michele, then head west on Via Vittorio Emanuele until you reach Piazza Antelminelli.

Train
From Pisa Centrale train station, purchase a ticket for the train to Lucca. Trains run frequently, usually every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lucca train station, exit the station and turn left onto Viale Giosuè Carducci. Continue straight until you reach the city walls. Enter the city through the nearest gate, and head towards Piazza San Michele. From there, proceed west on Via Vittorio Emanuele until you arrive at Piazza Antelminelli.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Pisa. Start from the city center and head north on Via Garibaldi, which will take you out of the city towards the countryside. Follow the signs for Lucca, which is approximately 20 km away. The route is mostly flat and very scenic. Upon reaching Lucca, you can park your bike at any of the bike racks located near the city walls. From there, walk to Piazza Antelminelli by heading towards the city center and following Via Vittorio Emanuele.
