Walk
If you're starting from the Pompeii archaeological site, exit the site through the main entrance and walk towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue walking straight until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station (about a 10-minute walk). From there, take the train towards Naples and get off at the 'Napoli Centrale' station (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Napoli Centrale, transfer to the Alibus shuttle bus to the Molo Beverello port (about 30 minutes). At the port, purchase a ferry ticket to Ischia. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Ischia, follow the signs to Castello Aragonese, which is a short 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

Public Transport
If you are at the Pompeii Forum, head towards the nearby Circumvesuviana train station. Board the train heading towards Naples. After about 30 minutes, get off at Napoli Centrale. From there, take the Alibus to the port (Molo Beverello), which takes around 30 minutes. Once at the port, buy a ticket for the ferry to Ischia. The ferry journey lasts about an hour. When you arrive at the Ischia ferry port, follow the coastal path or take a local bus to reach Castello Aragonese, which is about a 15-minute walk from the port.
