Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, exit through the main entrance and turn right onto Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Pompeii train station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples, and disembark at the Napoli Garibaldi station. Once at Napoli Garibaldi, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1 and take the train towards 'Piscinola'. Get off at the Toledo station, exit the station and walk towards Via Montecalvario. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Plebiscito. The Royal Palace of Naples will be on your left.

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Piazza Bartolo Longo. Take the EAV bus line towards Naples. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the Napoli Centrale bus station. From there, walk to the Napoli Garibaldi train station and follow the signs to the Metro Line 1. Take the train towards 'Piscinola' and get off at the Toledo station. Exit the station and walk towards Via Montecalvario, continuing straight until you reach Piazza del Plebiscito. The Royal Palace of Naples will be on your left.
