Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance (Porta Marina), exit and turn left onto Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn right here and follow this road until you reach the Forum. From the Forum, head towards the Temple of Apollo located at the northern side of the Forum. Keep walking past the Temple of Apollo, and you will see the Temple of Venus on your left, situated on a raised platform.

    If you are near the House of the Faun, exit the house and walk towards the Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn left onto Via dell'Abbondanza and continue straight until you reach the Forum. Once at the Forum, walk towards the Temple of Apollo. After passing the Temple of Apollo, the Temple of Venus will be on your left, elevated on a platform.

    From the Amphitheater of Pompeii, exit and head towards the main road, Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the Forum. As you approach the Forum, look for the Temple of Apollo on the northern side. After passing the Temple of Apollo, the Temple of Venus will be directly ahead on your left.

    If you are starting from the Villa of the Mysteries, exit the villa and follow the signs to Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn right and continue until you reach the Forum. From the Forum, head towards the Temple of Apollo, and after passing it, the Temple of Venus will be on your left.
