Foot
From the center of Positano, head towards the main road (SS163) that leads out of the town. Walk along the road for about 20 minutes until you reach the bus stop for the SITA bus located near the beach. Board the bus heading to Maiori. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Maiori, get off at the 'Maiori' stop. From there, walk towards Via Castello, following the signs pointing towards Castello di San Nicola de Thoro-Plano. The castle will be a short 10-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

Start at the main beach area in Positano. Walk to the SITA bus station located near the beach. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Maiori. The bus runs regularly, but it’s best to check the schedule when you arrive. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Maiori bus terminal. Exit the bus and follow the signs to Via Castello. The castle is located about a 10-minute walk uphill from the bus terminal. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to the castle!
