Ferry
To reach Piazzetta Cerio in Capri from Positano, start by making your way to the Positano ferry terminal located at the main beach area. Head down the stairs from the main road (Via Pasitea) towards the beach. Look for signs indicating 'Ferries' or 'Aliscafi'. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Capri. The ferry ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes, providing beautiful views of the coastline. Once you arrive at the Marina Grande in Capri, follow the signs to the funicular railway station, which is a short walk from the ferry dock. Take the funicular up to the Piazzetta, which is the main square in Capri. Piazzetta Cerio is located just a few minutes' walk from the funicular station.
Walking
If you find yourself in the vicinity of the Marina Grande after arriving on the ferry, you can walk to Piazzetta Cerio. After disembarking, head up the stairs towards the main road. Turn right onto Via Roma. Continue walking straight until you reach the Piazzetta, which will be on your left. This walk will take around 10-15 minutes and will allow you to enjoy the charming streets of Capri.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Marina Grande, you can also take a local bus to reach the Piazzetta. Look for the bus stop near the ferry terminal and board a bus heading towards Anacapri or the Piazzetta. The bus ride is short, taking about 5-10 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you are going to Piazzetta Cerio, so you can disembark at the correct stop.
