Ferry
From Positano, take a ferry to Sorrento. The ferry terminal in Positano is located at the main beach (Spiaggia Grande). Check the ferry schedule beforehand, as they may vary. The ferry ride to Sorrento takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sorrento, head to the train station.
Train
At the Sorrento train station, board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The train ride to Pompei Scavi station takes about 30 minutes. Ensure you get off at the Pompei Scavi station, which is the closest stop to the archaeological site.
Walking
After exiting the Pompei Scavi train station, follow the signs to the entrance of the archaeological site. It's a short 5-minute walk (approximately 400 meters). You will see signs directing you towards 'Scavi di Pompei.' The entrance is located on Viale delle Ginestre.
