Walking
Start from the center of Positano at the main beach area (Spiaggia Grande). Head east along the beach promenade, taking in the views of the colorful cliffside buildings. Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach and the path begins to ascend. Follow the path uphill for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the main road (SS163). Turn left onto the SS163 and keep walking for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for the Sorrento bus stop. Take the bus to Sorrento, which is approximately a 30-minute ride.
Public Transport
From Positano, walk to the Sita bus stop located near the main square. Board the Sita bus heading towards Sorrento. The journey will take around 30 minutes, and the bus will drop you off in the center of Sorrento. Once you arrive in Sorrento, walk towards the Corso Italia street and follow the signs to Vallone dei Mulini, which is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for the signs to the Vallone as you navigate through the quaint streets of Sorrento.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can opt for a local taxi or a rideshare service from Positano. Head to the taxi stand located at the main square of Positano. Inform the driver that you want to go to Vallone dei Mulini in Sorrento. The drive will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. This is the most convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
