Car
If you are driving from Matera city center, head east on Via Roma toward Via del Corso. Continue on Via del Corso and turn left onto Via XX Settembre. After that, take a right onto Strada Statale 7 (SS7) toward Bari. Follow SS7 for about 8 km until you reach the exit for Matera. Once you exit, continue on Strada Provinciale 2 (SP2) for about 4 km. Look for signs to Contrada Murgia Timone; the Centro Visite Jazzo Gattini will be on your right.

Public Transportation
From the Matera bus station, take a local bus (line 5) heading toward 'Murgia Timone'. Buses run every 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Murgia Timone' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 500 meters) to the Centro Visite Jazzo Gattini. Follow the signs directing you toward the visitor center.
