Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, take the SS16 highway towards Bari. Once you reach Bari, continue on the SS100 towards Taranto. Follow the signs for Locorotondo. Upon entering Locorotondo, follow the signs for the historic center. Via Morelli is in the heart of the town, and you can park at designated areas nearby. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €1 to €2 per hour.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from major cities like Bari or Taranto to Locorotondo. Trenitalia operates regular services on this route. Upon arriving at Locorotondo train station, you can either walk to Palazzo Morelli (approximately 1.5 km, around a 20-minute walk) or take a local taxi, which should cost about €10. The taxi stand is located just outside the train station.

• Bus

  Alternatively, you can take a bus from Bari to Locorotondo. The bus service is provided by Ferrovie del Sud Est (FSE). Buses depart from the Bari central bus station. Make sure to check the schedule as frequency may vary. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Locorotondo bus station, the Palazzo Morelli is just a short walk (about 1 km) from the station.

• Walking

  If you are already in Locorotondo, the Palazzo Morelli is easily reachable on foot. From the main square (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele), head southeast on Via Roma, then turn onto Via Morelli. The Palazzo is located at number 30. It’s a pleasant walk through the charming streets of this historic town.
