Start at the main square in Ravello, Piazza V. Emanuele. From there, head down Via della Repubblica towards the exit of the town. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via San Francesco. Turn right onto Via San Francesco and walk until you see the signs for the bus stop. Take a local bus towards Naples. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Pozzuoli stop. From the bus station, follow signs to Lake Avernus, which is a short 10-minute walk. Head south on Via Napoli, then follow the path that leads you to the lake.
