    Start at the main square of Ravello, Piazza Vescovado. From there, head southeast on Via San Giovanni del Toro, which will take you through the charming streets of Ravello. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will come to the intersection with Via della Repubblica. Continue straight onto Via della Repubblica. After about another 5 minutes of walking, you will reach the bus stop for the SITA bus service. Board the SITA bus heading towards Naples. The bus ride to Ottaviano takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ottaviano, follow the signs towards Mount Vesuvius, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Ravello, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via della Repubblica, located approximately a 5-minute walk from the main square. Take the SITA bus towards Naples. After a scenic 40-minute ride, alight at the Ottaviano bus stop. From there, follow the signs for Mount Vesuvius, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be steep.
