Walking
Start from the main square of Ravello, Piazza Vescovado. Head down the steps towards Via San Giovanni del Toro. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see the picturesque view of the coastline. From here, turn left onto Via Roma. Follow this road as it curves downwards. Keep an eye out for signs that direct you towards Pompei. The path will take you past the beautiful gardens and villas. After approximately 15-20 minutes, you will reach the bus stop at the bottom of the hill where you can catch a bus to Pompei.
Bus
After reaching the bus stop at the bottom of the hill, wait for the SITA bus that goes to Pompei. The bus will have a sign indicating its destination. A ticket can be purchased from the kiosk near the bus stop or on the bus itself. The ride to Pompei takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pompei bus station, exit the bus and head towards the main entrance of the archaeological site. Follow the signs that lead you to Piazza Esedra, which is located just outside the entrance.
