Walking
From the main square in Ravello, Piazza del Vescovado, head southeast on Via dei San Pietro towards Via Roma. Continue straight on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via Boccaccio. Turn left onto Via Boccaccio and follow it until you reach the bus stop for the Sita Bus that goes to Ercolano. The bus will take you directly to Ercolano. Once you arrive in Ercolano, follow the signs to Vesuvio, which is a short walk or a local shuttle ride from the bus station.
Bus
Start at the main square in Ravello, Piazza del Vescovado. From there, walk to the nearest Sita Bus stop located on Via Roma. Take the Sita Bus heading towards Naples and ask the driver to drop you off at Ercolano. From the bus stop in Ercolano, follow the signs to the Vesuvio entrance, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill.
