Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Pantheon, exit the building and turn left onto Piazza della Rotonda. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the end of the square. Turn right onto Via dei Pastini, and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via del Seminario. Turn left onto Via del Seminario, which will take you directly to Piazza della Minerva. The Elephant and Obelisk is located in the piazza, right in front of the Basilica di Santa Maria sopra Minerva.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near Termini Station, take Metro Line A (the red line) towards Battistini. Get off at the Barberini station, which is about 4 stops. From Barberini, exit the station and walk along Via del Tritone until you reach the intersection with Via della Stamperia. Turn left onto Via della Stamperia, then take another immediate left onto Via della Pilotta. Continue straight until you reach the Piazza della Minerva. The Elephant and Obelisk will be directly in front of you.
