To reach Ostia from central Rome, start by taking the Metro Line B (Blue Line) towards Laurentina. Get off at the 'Piramide' station. From Piramide, follow the signs to the Ostia Antica train station, which is located nearby. At Ostia Antica station, board the Roma-Lido train. This train will take you directly to Ostia. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ostia station, you can walk to the center of Ostia or take a local bus if needed.

If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the bus number 30 or 80 from various points in central Rome, such as Termini Station. Make sure to check the bus stops and routes beforehand. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the 'Ostia Centro' stop. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic. From the bus stop, you can easily walk to the main attractions in Ostia.
