If you're starting from the Vatican City, head towards the Vatican Museums. From the museums, exit onto Viale Vaticano and continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro. Walk down Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight on Lungotevere in Augusta until you reach the Castel Sant'Angelo. Pass the Castel Sant'Angelo and you will find the entrance to Passetto di Borgo on your right, which connects to the castle.
