Getting There

    If you're starting from the Vatican City, head towards the Vatican Museums. From the museums, exit onto Viale Vaticano and continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro. Once in the piazza, locate the large colonnades surrounding the square and walk towards the right side where you will see Via della Conciliazione. Walk down Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight on Lungotevere in Augusta until you reach the Castel Sant'Angelo. Pass the Castel Sant'Angelo and you will find the entrance to Passetto di Borgo on your right, which connects to the castle.

    From Termini Station, take Metro Line A towards Battistini and get off at Ottaviano station. Exit the station and head towards the Vatican City. Walk straight along Via Ottaviano until you reach the Vatican Museums. From there, follow the same walking instructions from the Vatican Museums to Passetto di Borgo as described above.

    If you're starting from Piazza Navona, walk towards Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima and head towards the Tiber River. Once you reach the river, walk left along the riverbank until you come to Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and then follow Lungotevere in Augusta straight to Castel Sant'Angelo. The entrance to Passetto di Borgo will be on your right after passing the castle.

    From the Spanish Steps, walk down Via della Croce and turn left onto Via del Corso. Continue until you reach Piazza Venezia. From there, take Via di San Marco and continue straight until you reach Via della Conciliazione. Walk down Via della Conciliazione towards the Tiber River, and then cross the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight and you will find Passetto di Borgo after Castel Sant'Angelo on your right.
