Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Campo de' Fiori, head south towards Via dei Giubbonari. Turn left onto Via dei Giubbonari and continue walking until you reach Piazza della Cancelleria. From there, take a right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Santa Maria in Trastevere. Turn left onto Via di Santa Maria in Trastevere, and you will soon arrive at Piazza di S. Calisto, which is a lovely square in the Trastevere district.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Termini Station, take Bus line 75. Board the bus at the Termini stop and stay on for about 10 stops. Get off at the 'Piazza della Rovere' stop. From there, walk southwest along Via della Lungara until you reach the Tiber River. Cross over the river at the Ponte Sisto bridge, then walk straight into the Trastevere area. After a few minutes, you will find Piazza di S. Calisto on your left.

  • Tram

    Catch Tram line 8 from the stop 'Viale Trastevere' towards 'Arenula/Min. Giustizia'. Travel for about 6 stops and get off at 'P.za San Giovanni di Dio'. From there, walk north along Via della Lungara, then turn left onto Via di San Francesco a Ripa. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River and cross at the Ponte Sisto. Head into the Trastevere area, and you will reach Piazza di S. Calisto shortly afterward.

    If you're near the Colosseum, take the Metro Line B from 'Colosseo' station in the direction of 'Laurentina' and get off at 'Circo Massimo'. Continue until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the Tiber River.
