Getting There

  • Metro

    Take Line A (the orange line) from any central station such as Termini, Ottaviano, or Spagna towards Anagnina. If you're starting from Termini, board the train in the direction of Battistini. Get off at the Ottaviano - San Pietro station. From the station, exit and walk along Via Ottaviano towards the Vatican. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums. From there, follow the signs leading to St. Peter's Basilica and you will eventually arrive at Piazza S.Pietro.

    Catch bus number 40 or 64 from Termini Station. These buses will take you towards the Vatican area. Get off at the stop 'Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina' or 'Piazza San Pietro'.
