After crossing, continue straight onto Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to Piazza San Pietro and the entrance to St. Peter's Basilica.
Metro

If you prefer to take the metro, find the nearest metro station, which is 'Ottaviano' (Line A). Once at the station, board the metro heading towards 'Anagnina.' After two stops, get off at 'Termini' station. From Termini, transfer to Line B and take the metro to 'Colosseo' station. Exit and walk towards the Colosseum, then head to Via dei Fori Imperiali leading you towards Piazza Venezia. From there, continue walking to Via del Corso, and follow the signs to the Vatican. Finally, walk to Piazza San Pietro.
