If you are near a metro station, take Line A (the orange line) towards Battistini. Get off at the Ottaviano-San Pietro station. From the station, exit and walk straight along Via Ottaviano for about 10 minutes. You will reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums, which will be on your right.

Find a bus stop nearby and take Bus 49, which goes directly to the Vatican Museums. Get off at the stop 'Piazza del Risorgimento.' From there, walk about 5 minutes by heading towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums, which is located on Viale Vaticano.

If you are staying in the vicinity of Rome's historical center, you can walk to the Vatican Museums. From Castel Sant'Angelo, walk towards Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the Vatican City walls. The entrance to the Vatican Museums will be on your left, just before the walls.
