Walking
If you are already in the Colosseo neighborhood, the Colosseum is just a short walk away. Head south on Via della Polveriera, and continue straight for about 200 meters. You will see the grand structure of the Colosseum at the end of the street. Just follow the flow of tourists as it’s a popular destination.
Public Transport (Metro)
If you are further away within Rome, you can take the Metro Line B (Blue Line). Board the train at any station along the Line B and disembark at the 'Colosseo' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards the Colosseum, which will take you approximately 5 minutes on foot. The ticket for a single journey on the metro costs around €1.50.
Bus
For those using the bus service, various lines operate in the vicinity of the Colosseum. You can take buses 75, 81, and 673 to reach the stop 'Colosseo.' From the bus stop, it's just a short walk of about 3-5 minutes to the Colosseum. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50, and you can buy it at newsstands or ticket machines.
