Walking
If you are already in the Colosseo neighborhood, The Coliseum is just a short walk away. Start by heading to the main street, Via del Colosseo. Walk in the direction of the large, ancient structure that you can see from afar. As you approach, you will see the entrance on your right. There are plenty of signs directing you to the Coliseum, and it is an iconic landmark, so you won't be able to miss it.
Public Transportation (Metro)
If you are further away in the Colosseo area, you can take the Metro Line B (Blue Line) to the Colosseo station. To do this, find the nearest metro station, which could be Cavour or Termini, depending on your location. Once on the Metro, travel towards the stop 'Colosseo', which is just one stop from Cavour. Upon exiting the Metro at Colosseo, follow the signs to the exit, and you will find yourself right in front of The Coliseum.
Use The coliseum as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
