If you are near the Colosseum, you can walk to Celio easily. Exit the Colosseum and head southeast on Via di San Gregorio. Continue straight until you reach the Celio neighborhood, which will take about 10-15 minutes. Look for the beautiful parks and ancient ruins as you stroll.

From the Trastevere area, you can take Tram 8 towards Piazza Venezia. Get off at the stop 'Basilica di San Giovanni'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk east along Via della Ferratella in Laterano to reach the Celio district.
