Take Line B of the Rome Metro. Board the train at any station along Line B and travel towards Laurentina. Get off at the Circo Massimo station, which is the closest metro stop to Circus Maximus. Upon exiting the station, turn left onto Via del Circo Massimo, and you will see the Circus Maximus straight ahead. It should take about 10-15 minutes from the station to reach the site.

You can take bus number 75 or 81 from various locations in Rome. If you're at Termini Station, board bus 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia' and get off at the 'Circo Massimo' stop. Alternatively, you can take bus 75 from 'Roma Termini' towards 'Piazza Venezia' and also get off at 'Circo Massimo'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Via del Circo Massimo to reach the site.
