Piazza Pasquale Paoli: A Hidden Gem in Rome

Getting There

• Metro

  Take Line A (the orange line) from the nearest metro station to your location. If you are starting from Roma Termini, board the train towards Battistini. Get off at the Flaminio station. Once you exit the station, take a left and walk straight until you reach Piazza del Popolo. From there, continue walking towards Via del Corso. Take a right onto Corso and continue until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn left onto Via di Ripetta, and after a short walk, Piazza Pasquale Paoli will be on your right.

• Bus

  Find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 81 or 87. If you are starting from the Colosseum, catch the bus at the 'Colosseo' stop. Travel towards 'Piazza Venezia' and get off at 'Trastevere'. From there, you can either walk or take a short transfer to bus number 23. If you choose to walk, head towards Via delle Zoccolette and follow the signs to Piazza Pasquale Paoli. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

  If you are nearby, walking is a great option. From the Trevi Fountain, head west on Via delle Muratte towards Via del Lavatore, then turn left onto Via del Lavatore and continue until you reach Piazza di Spagna. From there, take Via Condotti which will lead you to the Spanish Steps. Continue straight, and you will reach Piazza Pasquale Paoli after about 20 minutes of walking.

• Taxi

  If you're looking for a more direct route and don’t mind spending a bit more, you can take a taxi. Simply find a taxi stand or use a taxi app. Tell the driver to take you to 'Piazza Pasquale Paoli, Roma'. The driver will take you directly to your destination. Depending on traffic, the ride can take about 10 to 15 minutes from central locations like the Colosseum or Vatican City.
