    To reach Piazza Pia by metro, take Line A (the orange line) and get off at the 'Ottaviano' station. From there, exit the station and head southeast on Via Ottaviano towards Piazza San Pietro. Continue onto Via della Conciliazione, which leads directly to the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn left onto Lungotevere Castel Sant'Angelo and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn right onto Via della Conciliazione and continue straight until you reach Piazza Pia.

  • Bus

    To get to Piazza Pia by bus, find a bus stop near your location and take bus number 40 or 64, both of which head towards St. Peter's Square. Get off at the 'Piazza San Pietro' stop. From there, walk towards the Tiber River and cross the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn left onto Lungotevere Castel Sant'Angelo and continue straight. You will reach Piazza Pia after a short walk.
