Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from Termini Station, take Metro Line A (the red line) towards Battistini. Get off at the Barberini stop. From there, walk towards Piazza Venezia, which is about a 10-minute walk. As you exit the station, head northwest on Via Vittorio Veneto, turn left onto Via del Traforo, and continue until you reach Piazza Venezia. The Terrazza delle Quadrighe is located on top of the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, also known as Il Vittoriano, at the north side of the square.

  • Walking

    If you're near the Colosseum, head northwest on Via di San Gregorio towards the Circo Massimo, then turn onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, which leads directly to Piazza Venezia. As you arrive at the square, look for the large white monument (Il Vittoriano). The entrance to Terrazza delle Quadrighe is located on the monument itself. This walk is approximately 20 minutes and showcases some of the most beautiful sites of ancient Rome.

    From various parts of Rome, you can take bus line 30, 81, or 87 to the stop 'Piazza Venezia'. Once you get off, you will see the large monument (Il Vittoriano) directly in front of you.
