Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Lecce. From the SS16 highway, take the exit for Lecce and follow the signs for the city center. Once you reach the city, look for Via Giuseppe Libertini. The Basilica del Rosario e di San Giovanni Battista is located at Via Giuseppe Libertini, 5. There is limited street parking available, so be prepared to park a little further away and walk to the basilica.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you prefer to use public transportation, take a train to Lecce from your location in Salento. The Lecce train station is well connected. Upon arrival, exit the station and head to the nearest bus stop or taxi stand. You can take a local bus or a taxi to Via Giuseppe Libertini. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. If taking a taxi, it may cost around €10-15, depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a local bus from nearby towns to Lecce. Various bus companies operate routes to Lecce. Once you arrive at the Lecce bus station, follow the same instructions as above to reach Via Giuseppe Libertini. Again, you can take a local bus or a taxi which will cost about €10-15.

• Walking

  If you are already in the center of Lecce, the Basilica del Rosario e di San Giovanni Battista is easily accessible on foot. From Piazza Sant'Oronzo, walk towards Via Giuseppe Libertini, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs or use a map application on your phone to guide you.
