Car
If you are driving from Lecce, take the SS101 highway towards Gallipoli. After approximately 38 km, follow the signs for Gallipoli and exit onto Via Lecce. Continue straight until you reach the town center. Once in Gallipoli, follow the signs for Lungomare Galileo Galilei. You will find parking options along the waterfront or nearby streets.
Bus
From Lecce, you can take a bus operated by FSE (Ferrovie del Sud Est) to Gallipoli. Buses leave from the Lecce bus station regularly. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Gallipoli bus station, exit and head towards the coast. Follow the main road (Via Lecce) towards the waterfront, and you will reach Lungomare Galileo Galilei in about 15 minutes on foot.
Train
While Gallipoli does not have a direct train station, you can take a train from Lecce to the nearest station, which is in Casarano. From there, take a local bus or taxi to Gallipoli. Once in Gallipoli, follow the signs to the coast and walk to Lungomare Galileo Galilei, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus or taxi drop-off point.
