    Walking

    From the center of San Gimignano, make your way to the main street, Via San Giovanni. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn right onto Via del Castello. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see the sign for the bus station on your left. Follow the signs to the bus station, where you will catch a bus to Florence. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.

    Once you arrive at the bus station in San Gimignano, look for the bus line heading to Florence. The buses are usually marked with 'Firenze' or 'Florence'. Purchase your ticket from the ticket machine or at the bus station kiosk. Board the bus, and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at the Florence bus station (Firenze S.M.N.), exit the station and head towards the tram stop.

    At the Firenze S.M.N. station, locate the tram station which is adjacent to the bus terminal. Get on Tram Line T2 towards 'Unità' and travel for 4 stops until you reach 'Piazza del Carmine'. Exit the tram, and you will find yourself at Piazza del Carmine, which is a beautiful square surrounded by historic buildings and local cafes.
