Start at the Collegiata di San Gimignano, which is located in the central Piazza della Cisterna. From there, head southwest on Via San Giovanni towards Piazza del Duomo. Continue straight, and you will reach the end of the street where it meets Via San Matteo. Turn left onto Via San Matteo and walk until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fonti. At this point, turn right onto Via delle Fonti, and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will find yourself at the main entrance of the historic town. From here, follow the signs directing you towards the bus stop that will take you to Florence. The bus station is located on the west side of the town, just a short walk away.

Take the bus that is heading towards Florence (look for the bus number that indicates a route to Florence). The bus ride may take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Florence, you will need to walk towards the historic center. Exit the bus station, and head towards Via Nazionale. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, make your way to Via dei Calzaiuoli and follow the signs towards Piazza Santo Spirito. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from Piazza della Repubblica, and you will enjoy the beautiful streets of Florence along the way.
