Walking
If you are starting from the main square, Piazza della Cisterna, head south towards Via San Giovanni. Turn left onto Via San Giovanni and continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, take Via Roma which will lead you to the intersection with Via Cavour. Continue along Via Cavour until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn right onto Via Baccanella and follow it until you come to the bus stop at the edge of town. From there, catch a bus towards Florence, which should take you directly to Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli.
Bus
Begin at the nearest bus stop in San Gimignano. Look for the bus going towards Florence. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Florence, disembark at the Santa Maria Novella station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Via della Scala. Continue straight until you reach Via Nazionale. Turn right and then take another right onto Via dei Servi, which will lead you to Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli. The destination will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in San Gimignano. Start by heading south towards the main road (Via Vecchia). Follow the road until you reach the cycle path leading to Florence. The route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Upon arrival in Florence, follow the signs towards the city center, which will take you to Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli. Make sure to park your bicycle safely at a designated bike rack.
