If you are driving, the easiest way to reach Ponte Dei Saraceni is to head to the town of Adrano, located in the Metropolitan City of Catania. From Catania, take the A18 motorway towards Messina. Exit at ‘Catania Centro’ and follow the signs for SS121 towards Paterno. Continue on SS121 until you reach the junction for SP4, then take the SP4 towards Adrano. Upon entering Adrano, follow local signs to Ponte Dei Saraceni, which is approximately 4 km from the town center. There is parking available near the bridge.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If using public transportation, you can take a bus from Catania to Adrano. The bus service is operated by AST and buses leave from the Catania central bus station. The journey takes around 1 hour and costs approximately €3. Once you arrive in Adrano, you can either walk to Ponte Dei Saraceni, which is about 4 km from the bus station, or take a local taxi for about €10.
Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
Alternatively, you can take a train from Catania to Paterno, which takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately €2. From Paterno, catch a local AST bus to Adrano, which takes about 30 minutes and costs around €2. Once in Adrano, it is a 4 km walk to Ponte Dei Saraceni, or you can hire a taxi for about €10.
