Getting There

• Bus

  From Catania, head to the Catania Central Bus Station (Stazione degli Autobus), which is located near the main train station. Once at the bus station, look for the bus line heading towards Letojanni. The ticket can be purchased at the ticket counter or from the driver. The journey to Letojanni will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Letojanni, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the beach, which is just a short 10-minute walk straight down Via Roma until you reach the coast.

• Train

  Make your way to Catania Centrale Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the train heading to Taormina-Giardini. The trains run frequently, and the trip takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Taormina-Giardini station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop where you can catch a local bus to Letojanni. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Disembark at the Letojanni bus stop, and the Spiaggia di Letojanni beach will be a short walk away.

• Walking

  If you prefer a scenic route, you can take a guided walking tour from Catania to Letojanni; however, this is quite a long distance (approximately 30 km) and may take several hours. It is recommended to take public transportation to get closer to Letojanni and then enjoy the local scenery by walking along the beach and coastal paths once you arrive.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can also opt for a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber or a local equivalent from Catania directly to Spiaggia di Letojanni. This is the quickest option and will take about 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your trip.
