Car
If you're driving to Ursino Castle in Catania, start on the A18 highway. Take the exit for Catania and follow signs for Centro. As you approach the city, continue straight onto Via Etnea. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and then turn left onto P.za Federico di Svevia, where the castle is located. There are parking options nearby, but be prepared to walk a short distance to the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Ursino Castle using public transportation, take a bus to Catania's central station (Stazione Centrale). From there, you can catch Bus Line 431 or 448, which will take you to the 'Castello Ursino' stop. The journey should take about 15 minutes. Once you disembark, walk a short distance to P.za Federico di Svevia, where you will find the castle entrance.
Walking
If you're staying in the city center of Catania, Ursino Castle is within walking distance. Head towards Via Etnea and walk south until you reach Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach P.za Federico di Svevia, the castle will be on your right, easily recognizable by its large stone walls.
