Getting There

• Walking

  From the central Piazza del Campo, head towards Via di Città and continue straight until you reach Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and walk until you reach the end of the street, where it meets Via Montanini. Turn right onto Via Montanini and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Città. From there, follow the signs for the train station (Stazione di Siena). At the train station, take a train to Florence (Firenze). After arriving at Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, you can take a bus or tram towards Arcetri. Look for bus line 12 or tram line T2. Get off at the stop 'Arcetri' and walk to Largo Enrico Fermi, which is just a short distance away.

• Bus

  From the main bus station in Siena, take the bus to Florence. Look for the 'Siena - Firenze' bus, which typically runs every hour. After arriving at the bus station in Florence, make your way to the nearest tram or bus stop. Board the tram line T2 or bus line 12 heading towards Arcetri. Disembark at the 'Arcetri' stop and walk to Largo Enrico Fermi, which is a few minutes away on foot.

• Train

  Make your way to the Siena train station (Stazione di Siena) located near the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Florence (Firenze). Upon arrival at the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, exit and head towards the tram station. Take tram line T2 towards 'Firenze, Guidoni' or bus line 12 towards 'Arcetri'. Get off at the 'Arcetri' stop and walk to Largo Enrico Fermi, which is within walking distance.
