Start from the Piazza del Campo in Siena. Head east on Via di Città, continuing straight until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and follow it until you reach the bus terminal at Piazza Gramsci. From there, take the bus to Gaiole in Chianti. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gaiole in Chianti bus stop, walk north on Via Roma. After about 1 kilometer, take a right onto Località Castello di Meleto. Continue straight for about 800 meters, and you will arrive at Meleto Castle.

From Siena, make your way to the bus terminal located at Piazza Gramsci. Purchase a ticket for the bus heading to Gaiole in Chianti. Buses run several times a day, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride through the Chianti region. Upon arriving at the Gaiole in Chianti bus stop, exit the bus and walk north on Via Roma. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Località Castello di Meleto. Continue straight for 800 meters, and you will reach Meleto Castle.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Siena. Starting from the city center, head towards the bus terminal at Piazza Gramsci, then follow signs for the bike path leading to Gaiole in Chianti. The route will take you through beautiful Tuscan countryside. Upon arriving in Gaiole, navigate to Via Roma, then turn right onto Località Castello di Meleto. The total cycling distance is approximately 12 kilometers, and it should take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your speed.
