From the Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), head south on Via della Sapienza. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Campo. When you arrive at Piazza del Campo, take the street that leads to the left, Via di Città, which will take you directly towards Piazza del Mercato. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see the square on your right.

If you are near the Torre del Mangia, exit the square and walk down the stairs towards Piazza del Campo. From Piazza del Campo, walk towards Via di Città. Continue walking along this road for approximately 5 minutes, and you will find Piazza del Mercato on your right.
